MONOPOLIA LLC was established in August 2006. The freight transport market is quite fragmented, but at the same time has a great potential for consolidation. That is why we started to specialise in temperature cargoes – one of the largest segments of the industry. The refrigerated semi-trailer gives access to the largest number of cargoes, which facilitated further growth of the group of companies.

We are building up our own fleet of vehicles and moving from providing intermediary services to transporting temperature cargo. The large own fleet allowed us to build up a broad customer base. Access to this was further transferred to smaller players when the platform was launched.

Monopoly begins to introduce adaptive planning tools for its own fleet. These technologies formed the basis of the platform's logic for connecting hauliers and freight owners.

At this time, a holding structure is created to help manage group companies more efficiently. We actively build up our own fleet of vehicles and attract investment.

We launched a digital logistics platform. Trucking companies registered on the platform can pick up orders from cargo owners. In 2018, there were more than 1,000 active companies in the database.

It is a cardless fuel processing service that allows hauliers to find favourable prices at partner petrol stations connected to the service.
The service grew out of algorithms for its own fleet to optimise costs and diversify the network of fuel suppliers. These algorithms formed the basis of the service.

We launched the Monopoly Business project, the essence of which is to help drivers become entrepreneurs without initial investment. The project is a response to the structural problems of the trucking market: lack of drivers and decreasing management efficiency as the fleet grows. The group starts leasing its vehicles with the possibility of their subsequent purchase by an entrepreneur who is looking for cargo on the Monopoly platform.

After the appearance of fuel processing, we introduced Monopoly Service to the market, which helped the business to provide comfortable solutions for the driver on a journey. Roadside services, such as guarded car parks, car washes, hotels, etc. have become available to the driver.
In 2022, we combined the two products into Monopoly Multiservice. Now you can search and pay for fuel at petrol stations as well as roadside services in one service.
Multiservice is being actively developed: services can be received via the mobile application. Also now there are functions for tracking prices at petrol stations and deferral of fuel purchase.

In 2022, our company continued to create new solutions for their customers – financial and legal services appear.
Financial instruments appear on the platform. For example, with their help, a haulier can find funds to avoid a cash gap, get a business loan from a partner bank, or insure the cargo for the duration of the haul itself.
Platform members can also get legal assistance. The company's transport lawyers can help prepare a claim, settle a dispute in pre-trial proceedings, or appeal a fine.

In 2022, the company entered the ranking of fast-growing companies for the fourth time in a row. Few companies can demonstrate sustained growth over several years. Together with Monopoly, only two federal companies entered the rating for the fourth time.
Also in 2022, the Monopoly Online platform has won the National Award ‘Logistics of the Year’ in the nomination ‘Best platform solution for searching and selecting partner companies’.
Continued the development of the platform and acquired a controlling stake in the only public player in the road freight transport market, public joint-stock company GLOBALTRAC MANAGEMENT, in order to integrate it into the Monopoly Group with a focus on maximising efficiency within the combined operating circuit.

We continued the foundation of the group of companies – in 2024 we have acquired a stake in Smart Logistics Ltd. The company's main product is a TMS solution for hauliers and cargo owners. The acquisition allowed the group to build a foundation of unique comprehensive service offering for hauliers and cargo owners in the market.

Drivers can become participants of the Monopoly Business project and start their own business in freight transport with the possibility of growing to their own transport company.
